Why are you doing CrossFit?
I'm doing CrossFit to stay healthy and strong. To be able to play with my children and one day, my grandchildren.
What got you started doing CrossFit?
I needed to change up my fitness routine. I was a Zumba/TRX instructor and I had run several 5ks and three marathons. It was time for something different and CrossFit got me hook line and sinker. I couldn't imagine life without it.
Why do you stay with it?
For my physical health and mental sanity.
We all have goals-what are you working towards?
I'm currently working on stringing muscle-ups together as I've been doing singles for a couple years. I also want to own my handstand walk. I'm always working on getting stronger.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
What workout really gets you excited when you walk into the box?
I love Murph! I don't necessarily love all of the movements but I love the community and what it represents for our box specifically.
What are your favorite CrossFit movements?
My favorites are the snatch, jerk, hand-stand push-ups, squats, pistols, hand-stand walks, and squat cleans.
What are you least favorite CrossFit movements?
Rowing and wall-balls.
What eating plans do you follow?
Whole foods and Paleo
What is your favorite cheat meal?
Nachos are life!!!
What made you want to get your L1?
Nick asked me and I said yes. I love helping athletes understand movements and getting them excited about fitness.
What certifications or specialties do you have?
CrossFit Level 1, scaling, aerobic capacity, TRX, and Zumba. I played ice-hockey, softball, and volleyball in high-school.
What hobbies do you have?
I love camping, hiking, skating, snow-shoeing, and most of all, spending time with my family.

What do you do when you are not doing CrossFit?
Working in the dental world, attending children's sports, coaching, parenting, and not resting!
